... this is the first part of the video that we created on imovie and added the soundtrack in as well to the background.

light drawings...

2O.1O.1O...

...today we went into the darkroom to start taking the images for our stop motions for our start of the band video. first of all we had to grab a canon EOS 4OOD camera and also a tripod for the camera to sit on otherwise the image won't take. The settings that we put the camera on were BULB and then 16s which would be how long the aperature would be open for. we would press the button down and then do the drawing and then stop when the picture was taken :) here are a few which were taken which turned out pretty well and that i really do like :). the reasons on why i like these images is how the silhouettes are really clear and really stand out in the colours  and also how strong the colours are. i really think these type of images really can show someones expressions if you get it right.

album cover...

... this album cover is what i made from a task that we was given, which was to go onto wikipedia and go onto random article and then the name of the article would be the name of the band, then go onto wikiquotes and again click on random quote and use the last 4 words from the article and then last of all go onto flickr click on last 7 days and then the 3rd image in is the one i had to use for my album cover and then when put together that would be my album cover.

the prodigy...

band ideas...

... In our group we have decided that the band we have chosen is the prodigy and the song that we have chosen is voodoo people. 

For the first part of the song i think we have decided to be running through a town or either a street in the dark and then the last part will be done in the studio where we will all be in black and we will be using glow sticks and glow in the dark paint to dance with and create a great atmosphere which will also suite the song. Weither that will change i have nooo idea because i don't think it's final.

There will also be some shadows involved in the video to make the effects lot better and to give it a better feel to go with the song :) 

I do think there will also be some miming going on in the song even though there aren't many words but with the words there are there will be miming and youu will only see from below there nose and no higher to give it that kind of secercy.

the task in hand...

...is to produce the branding, advertising and marketing material for a band of any musical genre of my choice. I must produce a website, promo video, album cover, logos, photographs and many many more things.This will include graphis design and photography that can form the basics of my advertising and marketing. I will have research on the artist i have chosen on to help me along with this task.
